For a true fan any seat in the arena is great. However, there is a special thrill to being as close to the action as possible while cheering on your favorite team.
This week, Team Fenom’s founding duo will bring one lucky fan to the Atlanta Dream vs. Seattle Storm game on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 7pm. The winner will have the opportunity to sit in the club section on the floor of the arena for the last regular season home game. To win, 1) comment on this post and tell us your favorite thing about watching the Atlanta Dream and 2) share this post on facebook or twitter. The winner will be randomly drawn at 12pm on game day.
Good luck!

I have waited what seemed like forever to have a WNBA team close enought to watch on ANY type of basis much less a REGULAR one! The game itself is awesome but the little things like…watching the players during the National Anthem, seeing the warmups, the pregame rituals and intros…the faces of people never been before and the excitement in the kids faces that have NO IDEA how lucky they actually are to see these competitors……………….makes the drive 2 hrs one way seem…like a trip to the corner store.
A 2 hour drive each way is a long drive, but well worth it for a great game. I notice that you post on Team Fenom’s facebook wall regularly. Thanks for the support and for entering our contest!
Barb, you won! The ticket will be placed in will call. I will send you an email now.
I’m 13 yrs old and probably the biggest ATL Dream fan there is. My favorite things about the ATL Dream is that they are all so optimistic and when something goes wrong, they brush it all off and try harder the next time they get the ball. Everyone shows sportsmanship and are always presumptuous with the ball and each other. Every time I hear that The Dream are playing, I get excited and try my best to go to every game I can.
Thank you Ky’Anah for your post! I am glad that you’re such a huge Atlanta Dream fan!
My favorite thing about watching the Atlanta Dream is the knowledge of the game, the passion and objectivity that LaChina Robinson brings to the game before, during and after! Because of her work and her experience as a player, she takes the average Dream fan to another level during the telecast. She and Bob work very well together and I am disappointed that they are not available for road contests.
Sitting courtside is a different world. It reveals the energy and enthusiasm of the cheerleaders and dance teams, the interactions between coaches and officials and coaches and players at a high level. This experience makes you hungry for the next game at home or away!
Thanks for sharing! LaChina is one of our favorite basketball analysts. When I can’t attend the game I enjoy listening to LaChina and Bob’s commentary on Fox Sports South. We recently interviewed LaChina. It will be published soon. I will share your kind remarks with her.
I have read a lot of the posts and they all seem so great mine is fairly simple it’s bonding time for me and my boo , it is a great way for me to learn the sport as well as the opportunity to watch a great team play win or lose they always seem to be great sportswomen and they seem to really enjoy playing together. We always have a great time at every game!
Thanks for sharing! We have enjoyed all of the responses. I’m glad that you’re learning the game and using it as an opportunity to have quality time with your “boo”. The Dream is a great team to watch.
I enjoy watching the Atlanta Dream play because its like listening to underground music that you know is going to grow once everyone learns how awesome it is. They are definitely an under rated catch! The rest of the WNBA better watch out!
I completely agree! We couldn’t ask for a better team here in Atlanta– two WNBA Finals appearances in a short five-year history. It’s rewarding to learn of newcomers’ experiences. Once someone attends an Atlanta Dream game for the first time, he/she usually has a great experience and is eager to return.
Thank you everyone for sharing your favorite things about watching the Atlanta Dream. We enjoyed reading all of them! The winner was selected from a random drawing. Barb Berryman is our floor seat winner!
Today everybody is a winner! We have one to two club seats for everyone who did not win our floor seat contest! I will email all of you for will call names now. Thank you for supporting Team Fenom and women’s sports!
